The business was originally founded by Eugene Sciancalepore, a pioneer in the Australian polymer shutter scene. With almost 40 years in the building industry, starting as a carpenter and joiner, Eugene brings serious expertise to the table. He’s also a licensed builder and certifier and regularly supports our retail partners with hands-on training and top-tier technical support—in the field or over the phone.

Working closely with Eugene and Mile is Lorraine Kirkwood, who brings a strong background in marketing, sales, and business management. Together with such strong experience, Capitol has quickly built a solid reputation for honesty, integrity, and genuine support.
